I'm having a weird problem with a Mac program I'm working on.
It seems like if the user has BEEPinit, Soundmaster or some other
program that patches in BEEP sounds it confuses the displays on
my program. I can't imagine why this happens because:
1. I don't do anything with sound yet (other than call SysBeep).
2. The program is VERY plain Mac code with no funny tricks other
than writing to an off-screen bitmap (and I do that entirely
with quickdraw, no custom graphics hacks).
Any ideas? I'm using MPW as a development system. The only thing
I do that I can think of is the calls to SysBeep and frequent
calls to TickCount are somehow getting messed up by the BEEPinit.
