The ResEdit 1.2b3 File Menu "Get Info..." box has a check box titled "Printer Driver is MultiFinder Compatible." All current Apple printer drivers have this box checked. Uh, what exactly does a printer driver have to do to be MultiFinder Compatible? Earle R. Horton. 23 Fletcher Circle, Hanover, NH 03755--Graduate student. Uh, what exactly does a printer driver have > to do to be MultiFinder Compatible? This resource map attribute tells MultiFinder to load the file's resources into the system heap. It's rather like an override to each individual resource's resSysHeap attribute. It also allows an OpenResFile of the file to succeed even if it was already open, so that application B can open it even if application A has opened it and not yet closed it. -- brecher@well.UUCP (Steve Brecher)
