I know that the answer to this is going to be obvious to the most
casual observer, but I'm not being very casual in my observing right now,
so please bare with me.

I copied the famous 'Hello World' program from one of the standard
Mac reference books and am trying to make it a basic shell for other programs
I hope to write, but it's acting a little strange. When it first comes up
it draws the complete window, including the scroll bars. It then redraws, or
clears the content area of the window and wipes out the controls, and just
sits there until I move the mouse inside the window, at which time it
finishes drawing the controls and everythings fine. *UNTIL* I grow the
window. If I move the mouse outside the window as soon as I release the
button from a grow operation, the same thing happens. The window won't
finish drawing until I move the mouse inside it.

Any suggestions on how to get rid of this problem would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
	John Snow
