I read somewhere (a tech note, I think) that Mac applications should not not launch other applications. The exception to this being integrated development systems. I'm working on an application and wondering if I need to support a "Transfer..." menu item. Any opinions? I am using LSC, and I have been successful in getting Launching to work under the Finder, but not MultiFinder. Can anyone provide me with assistance in launching under MultiFinder? To any THINK TECH. people, who may be listening: Any chance in the future that LSC could support compiling in the background. Many times I have changed a global header file and had to wait for my application to rebuild. I would like to be able to continue working (editting) while my application is brought up to date. (Any errors which occur while compiling in the background should be ignored or logged, and as many files as possible be brought up to date.)
