There might be small problem in buying a computer in the US and taking it into Canada. I have a friend who travels around the country checking up on fraternity houses on different campuses for a specific fraternity, and I know that some of the people that do this for his fraternity sometimes don't get across with their typewriter. Appartently they are very strict, even if you plan to come back a couple days later with the same typewriter. I imagine that home computers are in the same category.
