I have a program (C or PASCAL) running on an unattended Macintosh. It is using an Appleshare volume as a client. Occasionally, because the Appleshare server went down, or because the network went down, the Appleshared volume goes away. This currently requires human intervention to fix (someone needs to click "ok" to a dialogue that warns that the volume went away, and then to use "chooser" to re-mount the volume.) Is there some way that my program can remount the volume without the human? Failing that, is there some way that a program can "mount" an Appleshare volume without requiring a human to mouse through chooser?
