I've finally decided to give my app's their own icons, but I'm having some trouble figuring out how to do that. I've got an example in Rez form, but they just give the source, and not too much information about the logic. I'd like to use ResEdit, but am basically lost on how to do it. Also, when you're making Finder info, does on use ones own "signature" resource type which is somehow coerced into type 'STR ' (that's how they do it in the docs I have) or does one somehow use the 'vers' resource. If anyone could e-mail me some info (or references to docs, such as Tech Notes), I'd appreciate it. I have TN up to 3/88, but didn't see any mention in the index.
