I recently download DigSim, a digital logic simulation software from sumex-aim archives. However, it crashes under the latest system 6.0.2. I heard that there is a version 2.9 for this program. If anyone has any version later than 2.0, would you please e-mail it to me ? If you have any information on where and how I can obtain this software, would you please E-MAIL all the responses ?? Thanks in advance ! ________________________________________________________________________ Xiaoxia Ye INTERNET/BITNET/UUCP: xxiaoye@eleazar.dartmouth.edu Dartmouth College For more info: finger xxiaoye@eleazar.dartmouth.edu

I agree -- DigSim is a VERY nice program. The "About" box in my version 2.0 says it was written in 1986 by Brian Rauchfuss, 8915 N 13th Ave, Phoenix AZ 85021. Still around, Brian? There is an alternative program, LogiMac, in the Kinko's Academic Coursework Exchange catalog (1-800-235-6919) which is also good, and cheap. I like DigSim because its circuit elements are on-screen in a palette, whereas LogiMac has them only listed in menus.

Yes, I am still around! DigSim 2.8 is the latest released version, 2.9 (adding tristate gates!) is in beta test. You can get the latest version by mailing me $20 and a disk or $25 without the disk to: Brian Rauchfuss 451 Boardwalk #708 Fort Collins, CO 80525 Brian Smokefoot
