Two questions regarding some control drawing traps: 1) ShowControl() immediately draws the given control, but does it also invalidate the control's rect or otherwise force an update event? 2) DrawControls() also refreshes all controls that haven't been hidden, if 1) above is true, shouldn't a call to ValidRect() on a control's rect cause the control not to be redrawn when DrawControls() is called? As you may guess I'm trying to cut down the flicker that occurs when a ShowControl is followed by a DrawControls().
