I have just got hold of a copy of Macsbug that works on the Mac II.
Imagine my delight, upon scanning the on-line help, in finding several new
features that were only previously available in TMON, namely Heap Scrambling
and *Trap Discipline*. Imagine my disappointment when I gleefully typed `DSC
ON' and got the message `Discipline not installed'. No amount of coaxing would
get it to work.
So, am I doing anything wrong or have I got an incomplete version of
Macsbug (version 6.0 B1). Am I also right in believing that Macsbug's
copyright status is similar to Macintalk (it is free to people that own a Mac
but cannot be freely distributed) so that if I do have a crippled version of
it, someone could send me a complete version (or just the bits I am missing).
Finally, is there any better documentation than just the on-line help (and what
I have gleaned from the LS[PC] manuals).
Thanks,
jez.
