Is there any way to unmount (eject?) an AppleShare volume from within an application? I have tried UnmountVol, which returns -47 (file is busy) and Eject, which returns noErr but doesn't do anything. The parameter block versions of these calls do exactly the same. The end result is to be able to limit logins to the file server to those people who have booked a session in our own lab. At the moment the only way we can prevent people logging in from other AppleShare networks is by disconnecting ourselves. Perhaps others have had the same problem and have come up with other solutions. If so we would like to hear from you.
