On page 56 of the LaserWriter Reference, the author refers to 2K of battery-backed-up ZPRAM. Is this amount of non-volatile RAM available on all versions of the LaserWriter?

If you look in all the PostScript Language stuff from Adboe re the LaserWriter, it talks about dumping the entire EEROM into a 512-character PostScript string (page 303, PostScript Language Reference Manual).
