HELP!!! HELP!!! HELP!!! Here is my scenario. Players: two harddisks X AND Y. The goal is to move (some) files from X to Y. Conditions: (i) About 90% of the files on X are already on Y, so only about 10% of them need to be moved. (ii) About 10 files on Y must not be replaced by their sisters from X because they contain Y specific info (such as the "path file"). These files are scattered around on Y in various folders so they cannot be placed in one folder called [fn]. (iii) Y contains some harddisk partitions (the SUM variety) not present on X. These should not be acidentally erased when moving stuff from X to Y. Question: HOW TO PROCEED? Could DiskfFit do the job? Or what other backup program would do it? If we forget condition (ii), would DiskFit keep the partitions intact on Y? Please email solutions to me. Thanks!!!
