In the aftermath of last week's Mac developers conference, would anyone like to comment on any apparent differences in support provided to Apple Partners vs. Apple Associates? o Were all Associates invited to the conference? o Did Associates receive the same pre-release 7.0 software and documentation as Partners? o Did Associates receive Phil & Dave's Excellent CD? o Will Associates be receiving the one-time-only discount coupon for an Apple CD ROM drive? I must admit that I was very critical of Apple's new policy of making developers pay to help Apple sell computers. I can only guess from what's come over the net that the answers to all of the above questions are "yes", in which case the $350 annual fee for Associate status seems pretty reasonable. But $350 still is a lot to me right now, so I need straight forward answers to those questions. I will summarize to the net if appropriate.
