[comp.sys.mac.programmer] Dissolve code as a library or unit

Recently Mike Morton's dissBits code was posted to comp.binaries.mac by Rich.
I've tried to make it into a routine in LSC since LSC can have inline 
assembly.  Many problems resulted.  Mainly because i know nothing about 
assembly.           

Is there anyone out there that has made the code into a library or unit for
use in LSC or LSP?  Anyone wanna try it out?  I'm sure it would be much
nicer and easier to use if it was a library or unit.
