Recently I have wrote a program in Lightspeed C (3.0) with the compiler code generation options for the 68020/6881 on. This program was then ran on the Mac II, Mac IIx, and the IIcx. It only worked on the II. And when the above options were turned off, compiled, and the application was built, it was not as fast as the MacII version. Does anybody know about these incompatibilities? Why they exist -it seems illogical to me that the 68030/68882 would not support the 68020/ 68881 codes - and what can I do to remedy this situation? Do I have to label my applications according to the machine it is going to be run? I am still working on couple of the suggestions, since the first two I have receieved did not work out the way I wanted. But I'll let you know as soon as I get it working. Thanks, again.
