Well folks, JRT Systems, the prompt and efficient suppliers of JRT Pascal, have announced that they will release a version of Modula-2 in October. The list price is $100. I do want to try out Modula-2, but from JRT?!? Is anyone going to buy this? Ha Ha Ha. Ken Lee 5941ux!kfl

From: Gary Little <Little.Fleas@hi-multics> Word does not fit within fill column.Would you believe that somebody will? As W.C. Fields said, "There's a sucker born every minute". I can see it right now - the aforementioned sucker will lay out his life savings of $100 and then wait for 6 months. At this time he will begin to get a little nervous and begin the normal "Well I paid my money and JRT ain't sent nothing so they gotta be lousy and it really sucks to rip off hackers of their life savings and if they don't send me it soon yesterday well I'm gonna .. well they better .. etc, etc, etc". Then when he finally gets it all we will hear on the net is how it doesn't have a spiffy linker, or there are no debugger capabilities, or the error meassages absolutley reak, or it doesn't follow the standard (whatever that may be -- which really means that JRT didn't sell him the UCSD version that the sucker uses at school or work). Anyway, ho hum, get ready for it folks cuz' it is gonna happen. Gary
