Recently, I got the recertification packet for Apple's developer programs.
One thing in this packet caught my eye...but there was little or no
information actually included.
What I'm speaking of is the hardware leasing program for developers. This
is mentioned in passing but no mention is made of the details. If anyone
out there can answer a few questions on the Apple's developer leasing
program I would appreciate it.
1. What kind of lease terms are available? Long term (>1 Year) short term
(<6 months) or both?
2. Are these leases offered at a special price? (ie: less than a traditional
lease from a bank or leasing company)
3. Are all types of Mac hardware available.
4. Are lease-with-purchase options available.
