  I've just noticed a problem with Facade 1.0, which came over the net
a week or so ago. If I have an ICN# assigned to disks with the name
"Untitled", and do a Get Info on the disk from the Finder, the 'Where:'
field says, "Untitled, <random garbage>", where <random garbage> is
always 8 funky high-bit characters. What *should* be there in its place
is the word "internal", which oddly enough is 8 chars long, too.
  The "Where:" string for my startup (SCSI) drive is OK, however (well,
not really OK: there's some 'extra baggage' tacked on the end of the string
that messes up its display in programs other than the Finder, and I really
wish it didn't have to be there!!!)

P.S. System 6.0.3/Mac Plus/Jasmine 20

Does this only happen to floppies named "Untitled", or to all floppies? I
assume you're talking about floppies since you say the Where: message
should be "Internal".

I can't be certain, but this may have something to do with another bug I
discovered about a day after I released version 1.0. I gave away version
1.0.1 at MacHack, and I'll be posting that version today or tommorow. I
should have known a version number ending in zero couldn't last very long.
<sigh>
