Greetings: Summary: Nightwatch has problems and their User Support seems to be in no hurry to fix it. Q: HAve you had similar problems ? We have been using Nightwatch for about 6 months and very satisfied with it...until last week. We have had the same problem crop up before but since it was not repetitive we did not bother...here goes: Suddenly sometimes Nightwatch just comes up with an error -199 [MPW C's error.h is as helpful as a Big Blue Mainframe error code :-)]. Our Nightwatch disks are then unable to open up the Hard disks. Only the administrators disk can override this. This started out on our Mac II's now it is occuring big time on our IIx's. The User Hot Line has not responded. It is a pain for our administrator to come in at 2 am. Before u ask : -no we have no viruses (hopefully) (we use Virex) -all our Nightwatch copies are paid for & Registered. Lousy user support is probably going to screw up Nightwatch sales. Well if you are considering buying Nightwatch suggest you wait this out ...it is a real serious problem . :"-( madhu@hubcap.clemson.edu !gatech!hubcap!madhu
