I want to thank everyone who responded to my last post about an INIT that logs the startup and shutdown time. After some searching and testing, I think that this program, Launch INIT, is the one for me. But, a small problem has developed. I have noticed that the init does not log any application that is launched from a partition other than the one it is on (ie, the startup partition). Can this be changed? Our hard disks generally have three partitions and the other two (not the partition with the system folder) generally have the software that will be used on them. Other than moving all the partitions around and the software onto the startup partition, is there a way around this? These partitions, by the way, are not created with SUM Utilities. This is a partition that was created with the software that came with the drive (Rodime 1400RX) and thus is not just a file like that created by SUM. Thanks in advance again.... ******************************************************************************* * Greg Ford GEnie: G.FORD3 * * Univeristy of Southern California Internet: gford%nunki.usc.edu@usc.edu * *******************************************************************************
