The Macintosh Plus and Macintosh SE (the regular one, not the /30) will never be able to participate in 32-bit addressing because the 68000 processor which they use is limited to 24-bit addressing. (Obviously if you place a 68020 or 68030 board in your Plus this might no longer be the case). Whether you will be able to use most of the 24-bit address space for RAM depends on the design of the hardware; the original Mac, at least, did not do much address decoding. -- Thomas Newton Disclaimer: Opinions expressed are mine and not necessarily those of Digital.
