I'm looking for tools to add music to my application. I have no musical talent whatsoever, so I need something that will let me just type in music from a sheet and play it back asynchronously from my own program. I've perused the new Sound Manager docs, but it seems a long way from SndControl to Beethoven's Fifth. Also, I have no snd resources of sampled instuments to use. Does anyone know of/have a canned set of routines to do songs (maybe one level up from the Sound Manager), along with a library of instrument snd's? Are there any good (and relatively cheap) commercial packages to do this? E-mail to me; I'll summarize to the net if response warrants.
