[comp.sys.mac.programmer] Whatever happened to Mr. Macintosh?

Whatever happened to Mr. Macintosh? He was a picture that originally
would pop up on the Mac screen every so often until, possibly before the
Mac's introduction, the "every so often" was set to infinity. I know he
was still in the ROM's somewhere because I saw him once. I was watching
my Mac go through the throes of a particularly nasty crash, the kind
where the screen looks like modern art and the speaker emits a sound like
a cat in a blender, when the screen went black. Then there appeared four
ICON-sized images of a round face, with three hairs sticking up from the
top of his head. Seconds later, they disappeared.

So is he still in the 128k ROMs? If he is only in the 64k ROMs, does
anybody know where (so I can go get him)? Has anybody else seen him? I
suspect the numbers are few, but this is a likely place to find others
who have.

Thanks in advance for any info.

On a similar note, does anyone know if the "Stolen From Apple Computer"
icon is in any of the post-Mac Plus ROM sets?

More important, are these icons 32-bit clean? :-)
