I am looking into developing some simple applications on the Mac and am trying to find information on available compilers. My personal preference is C, but Pascal would be an acceptable language as well. I would like to know: 1) What compilers are available? What do they cost? 2) How easy is application development? (I'm lazy; the more libraries to simplify producing windows/graphics the better) 3) Do they optimize code? How fast do programs generally run? Any comments/information would be greatly appreciated.
