I have the required resource in my system file to make the scroll box in scroll bars (using Colors CDEV) and it works most everywhere. However, I wrote a simple program in LSP 2.0? (the current version). This program doesn`t want to color my scroll box. Everything else does, Finder... I have tried creating the scroll bars from a resource and without a resource, and still no color. I`m running this on a Mac II, 256 colors with MultiFinder. Does anyone know what is doing this? Thanks, Norman Franke nf0i+@andrew.cmu.edu

I have noticed this also but never bothered to track down the cause. My theory (which is mine) is as follows: (Ahem) For a control to be displayed in full color, its owning window must be a color window. Try it. No guarantees. ____________________________________________________________________ Have a day. :^| Murat N.
