I own an IBM PC, but would have gotten a Z100 if I were getting the thing for my own use (I'm developing PC software). I claim the main advantages of the Z100 are (a) more bus compatibility; (b) it has an 8085 in there to run CP/M programs directly; (c) it has better screen control (on the IBM PC you can't even send a character string to the screen to clear it or move the cursor around); and (d) better graphics. The IBM PC, of course, has advantages from being IBM: everybody is building fancy and/or useful add-on boards. Also much new software will be available for the PC but not the Zenith. But for a knowledgeable user (like you, Ron) I think the quantity of software available on the Zenith should be more than adequate. Jim
