Well, I got my version last night, and it looks... well, nice, but I haven't had a chance to look at it very closely yet. I noticed that the "core" classes were very basic, but that there were "more" classes not documented. Why were they not documented? I am away from my Mac now; does anyone know if things like DIalog, List (as in List Manager, not the List core class), and the like are implemented? How about a good Text editor base? I'd like to write a vertical market WP (script writing) but don't want to fight the same battle all WPs have already fought. Is this a pipe dresm? On another note, now that we've got a publicly accesible available C OOPS, how about the real C hackers on the net creating and distributing some awesome Think C (TC from now on -- lost the LSC abbreviation with this release, sigh...) classes? Some possibilities: (and of course these may be in More Classes, I don't know) -- Fast Styled Texedit class. -- Extensible WYSIWYG text editor class (yeah, right ;-) -- Lists a la List Manager (see above) -- scrolling bitmap/pict window -- Hypercard ;-) -- Browsers, generalized -- ??? -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jeffrey A.
