Early I posted that to do Gray scale on a Macintosh you'd have to generate postscipt code.... Well apparently you no longer need to do this if you have the system 6.0.x laserWriter driver and the 32-bit quickdraw init. So now doing color/gray-scale on output devices is just as easy as drawing all of that to the screen and your printing code shouldn't need to be changed.
