From: Gary Little <Little.Fleas@hi-multics> Well, finally a good reason for declaring that JRT is not worth the $29.95 or the $39.95 -- and a good indication that their Modula 2 would suspect. Evidently the October thru December 1982 issues of Dr. Dobb's Journal had running battle between some JRTinians (including Mr. J. R. Tyson), and JRT Pascal came out dead last. Their are two rather large reasons: 1. The basic defintion of the language was changed. ". Jrt Pascal finds it difficult to multily real numbers by zero;i.e. 3.0 * 0.0 = 3 according to JRT, but 0.0 * 3.0 = 0. Regardless of the price, THAT is totally unacceptable. Gary G. Little
