I am currently looking for a resource de-compiler.. Does anyone have any recommendations as far as which program to use? I'd also like to know where one can be found.. I haven't been able to find any on the few sites I checked.. Thanks in advance. ..Jeff Keegan ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Jeff Keegan | I clutch the wire fence until my fingers bleed | | jkeegan@hawk.ulowell.edu | A wound that will not heal | |----------------------------| A heart that cannot feel | | This space intentionally | Hoping that the horror will receed | | left blank | Hoping that tomorrow we'll all be freed -RUSH | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MPW has a tool called "derez" which takes resource files and decompiles them into either straight hex dumps or into formatted files (given the appropriate template files). The output from "derez" is a text file which can be inputted to "rez" which takes resource specification files and turns them into resource files. Hope this helps. +-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Disclaimer: Apple has no connection with my postings. | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ Byron Han, CommToolbox Scapegoat Macintosh - Catch the Wave!
