I know this may have been covered before, but I would appreciate if someone could again post how to program for heirarchial menus. In particular, I am having trouble getting the submenus to "pop-up" on the screen next to the menu item having the ">" mark to the right of it. What is the sequence of ROM calls needed to do this and to handle the menu items? I am currently using MPW/TML Pascal but any language code examples will be appreciated. Thanks. Sounds like you might not be inserting the h-part of the menu list with a '-1' in the after parameter. By inserting a menu with a -1 that tells the Menu manager that it's an h-menu and needs to be dealt with differently. Also make sure that you have the item mark fields and command key fields in your Menu resource set up properly. :-) Hope this helps. -- \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\|///////////////////////////////////////// David M.
