My boss seems to think that printers that operate on System 7.0 will need to provide screen fonts in addition to the fonts necessary for printing. He said a font vendor told him he would need 57 screen fonts. I thought System 7.0 was supposed to handle printers more gracefully than that. The information Apple has provided me with doesn't seem to address that issue. Will there be more coming soon?

If your printer has 57 fonts built into it then you would need the corresponding 57 screen fonts. Sean Parent
