Since my previous question got such a quick and complete response, I thought I'd try a second. When I double click on an application produced with THINK C, fopen's are relative to the directory where the application resides. I was surprised to find that if I double click on a file that has the application type as its signature, it brings up the application, but the ``home directory'' is where the application resides. I am happy to accept this as the default, but: (1) Is there anyway to determine the directory for a file (specifically a file opened by the Preload method). (2) Is there any way to change where fopen opens files? I am nearly finished modifying TinyEdit so that you can have a main program where ``getch'' reads characters from the edit windows, either the last line of a specific window, or the selected region of any window. I will be happy to post my modifications, if this is permitted. -- Gary Levin/Dept of Math & CS/Clarkson Univ/Potsdam, NY 13676/(315) 268-2384 BitNet: gary@clutx Internet: gary@clutx.clarkson.edu
