I just grabbed (via ftp from ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu) version 2.3 of NCSA Telnet. There are two versions there, the normal one and a separate one to work with MacTCP. A third file contains the MS Word documentation, and a fourth file contains the MPW source code. I thought they said it was MPW 2.2, but I can't recall for certain. Perhaps someone with ftp access can double-check this since I was calling long distance to log into a one-time shot at quick ftp access. :-( The "numbers" for ftp.ncsa are 128.174.20.50 (numbers almost always make ftp'ing faster than giving a name). Anyway, there was also a comment to the effect that it would be very difficult to compile the system under anything but MPW. -- ----- Steve Lemke ------------------- "MS-DOS (OS/2, etc.) - just say no!" ----- Internet: cpdaux!steve@apple.com GEnie: LEMKE ----- Or try: apple!cpdaux!steve CompuServe: 73627,570 ----- Quote: "What'd I go to college for?"
