[net.micro] Computer Fair in Portland, Oregon

marcw@tekgds.UUCP (Marc L. Wells) (09/20/83)

I thought I would post this here for general interest, in
case there are any micro-hackers who will be in Oregon in
the next couple of weeks or if there are any Oregon-hackers
who don't read or.general.

From Friday September 30 through Sunday October 2, the Ore-
gon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) will present the
second annual OMSI Computer Fair. The theme of the fair is
"The Personal Computer Goes to Work". Included will be ven-
dor displays, representatives from various users groups and
OMSI staff members who will give talks, demonstrations and
lead workshops on such topics as personal business comput-
ing, LOGO and advanced programming. There will even be a
computer games arcade. All activities at the Computer Fair
- with the exception of the Games Arcade - will be free,
after Museum admission.

For more information, contact OMSI at (503) 222-2828 or send
me mail (I don't always keep up to date on this news group,
so I'm more likely to respond to mail than an article on the
network.)
