Ok, I have two small questions which should be easily answered by all you major hackers who just love to prove their programming prowess, so if you have any suggestions or code, por favor send it out to the rest of us. 1) How can I tell the size of a file in Bytes (I'm only concerned with HFS) and 2) I am using Think C 3.01 and am in need of some code to Launch an application. (I've tried _Launch on my own as well as via the various examples in the technotes, yet always end up in Macsbug with an error in the *Chain* trap call!?!) It doesn't matter if the launch expects to be returned to (i.e. under MultiFinder) or not. Any help will be preserved in an air-tight vacuum chamber, guarded by laser-beam motion detectors, and prayed to every other third fortnight. (Would you rather I say it would be greatly appreciated just as everyone else does?) Thanks very mucho... Ando "Moon" Sonenblick: sonenbli@oxy.edu P.S. Thanks to all those out there who responded to my File Manager queries, I no longer have nightmares about "Parameter blocks!" P.S.S What does "P.S." stand for?
