I no longer have the source to the SerialPrint DA which I wrote sometime in 1987 and posted to comp.binaries.mac. This is too bad, because someone reposted the DA to sumex recently, and I have been getting requests for the source. Apparently, the idea of streaming ASCII files to the printer never caught on among Mac programmers. :o) If someone who is reading this got a copy of the source to this DA from me way back when, I would appreciate it if you could mail me a copy. Failing that, those desiring an example of sending text to the printer might want to look at my MacTutor articles, Nov.-Dec. 1987. Earle R. Horton

No need to mail me any more copies of the source to my SerialPrint desk accessory. Thanks to all who have done so so far. I managed to get an apparently unaltered copy from Jeff Staley, and have forwarded it to info-mac@sumex, if anyone still needs it. Earle R. Horton
