[comp.sys.mac.programmer] C++ and MacAPP and C all at the same time.

ph@cci632.UUCP (Pete Hoch) (11/10/89)

We here people have been useing MPW C for a few months now
and have becom interested in what help we could get from
C++ and MacApp. From recient postings it sounds like there
are some problems with this combination, are they big problems?
Also if I use C++ can I also use C and Assembler and link in
these non-object code pieces?

Lastly as to MacApp, Does it have an object that will handle
an edit window that uses tabs and breaks the 32K limit of TEdit?

Thanks for the help,
Pete Hoch

As with all MPW languages there is no problem combining C++ with the others.
C++ and MacAPP is a little rocky to get started but once you do it's
nice, aside from
the speed problem with C++.

MacApp does not have a >32K TEdit object. At least not yet.
