I have recently taken up Mac Programming, and I am involved in an attempt to write a data server and remote terminal program which would (of course) communicate over Appleshare. The code for both programs is entirely written, and runs flawlessly with one exception: Although the server can receive requests from the remote, and send responses, the responses never seem to get back to the remote program - the ATPSendRequest call times out and the response seems to get lost in the network. Has anyone else on the net had any experience with Appletalk programming, or know of anyone I could get in touch with who was? Has anyone ever tried to do this same thing, and had this result? Has anyone ever done this successfully? Answers to these questions (and, possibly more) would be vastly appreciated.
