APDA has done it again. Three years ago, when APDA was really bad, I could take it, because they, and everyone else knew it. C'mon, why should I have something shipped overnight if it takes them two weeks to find something in their warehouse. I've been away for a year or so now, and APDA, despite their claims, is not much better. Out and out misinformation, and still, shoddy service. My recommendation to all is to buy anything and everything you can elsewhere, and only go to APDA when apple "forces" you to. <flame off> Peter G.

I don't want to be a nay-sayer, but in every organization, you will have good and bad examples of service. After I made my first APDA purchase (which was quite large) it took them all of 36 hours to deliver it to my doorstep. I have had nothing but friendly service from them. It is true that their operators don't know everything about every product, but the one time they couldn't answer my question, they immediately went and found someon who could. I certainly have no complaints (although it WOULD be nice if the prices were a bit cheaper, but that's not THEIR fault).

I have found that APDA's service is good. All orders that I have placed with them have arrived within 7 days (which for me is acceptable; I don't have lots of free time to actually use the stuff anyway). I believe that many people, after having to go through the P.I.T.A. membership sign-up, are left with a bad impression for the rest of their lives... -Michael -- Michael Niehaus UUCP: <backbones>!{iuvax,pur-ee}!bsu-cs!mithomas Apple Student Rep ARPA: mithomas@bsu-cs.bsu.edu Ball State University AppleLink: ST0374 (from UUCP: st0374@applelink.apple.com)
