I've got this great idea for a CDEF that will make everybody's life, including yours, easier. Problem is, I've either got to write the equivalent of two CDEFs, or I've got to get one CDEF to be able to call another. Apparently, ROM calls don't work, because I can't call NewControl from inside the Init routine of a CDEF. Possibly I could send messages to the thing myself, but bypassing traps is always a bad idea.
