Right now I would like to find a book that treats the Mac File Manager (Hi and Lo level calls) in great detail, with clear explanations and sample code. If it also treated filterProc's and actionProc's and was up to date AND clear about Desk Accessories, why, I'd just be sooooo happy.... I saw a Sybex book, copydoodled 1989, but suspiciously enough it didn't mention HFS in it, and I couldn't seem to find any "H" calls. hmmm. It did have an extensive treatment of the Wonderful Parameter Blocks, though, something which other books shy away from. meanwhile, back in India....
