I've been trying to ftp stevie 3.69 from the info-mac archives at sumex.stanford.edu, but I've been unsuccessful because the files contain a CRC error. Since I only need the application, I tried to unstuff the corrupted file anyway, but the corruption includes the portion where the main stevie application lies. I sent mail to the person responsible for the Mac port, Earle Horton, but he has moved. Can somebody direct me to another archive site that has the latest version of the Mac port of stevie or send me a copy? Thank you. This is a follow-up to my previous posting about experiencing problems getting stevie 3.69 from the sumex archives. I've received some responses with suggestions about how to fix things. I didn't make clear that I've downloaded many, many Macintosh files from sumex without problems. Perhaps I am doing something wrong, but it's not obvious. So, I would really rather hear about other archive sites containing stevie 3.69 or offers to send it to me directly. Thank you.
