I offer my services to give space on the University of Miami's Biomedical Computing vax as an anonymous FTP server. To be held there are utilities written for the macintosh, programs, or bits of programs, or anything that might be helpful to programmers. In any language, and in any compiler. For the moment I would like to restrain it to non-scripted languages, like C, Pascal, Fortran, etc. Not Hypercard, or SuperCard, or anyCard, for the moment. There are enough of those out there already. Straight off, I have some little things I could throw in, like a routine to find the HFS path to the blessed folder. A routine to draw shadows on a patterned background in a dialog window (to give it that NeXT touch!) And probably some other stuff... Somebody mentioned that REAL programmers (whatever that is) re-write the TextEdit routines when they do REAL work. Ok, then, if its better (or even if it's as good) as apples give it to us, in source and in libraries. That way, we don't double efforts all of the time. I'm sure as hell APDA ain't gonna help ya! Leave all the stuff in the pub directory and I'll take a look at it and throw it in the tree. Try to document it, and how you used it, maybe some example code around it. Tell me if you like the idea... -Jack -- "I was a Jew once myself..." -Hunter S. Thompson qouting Edward Muskey
