Several people have asked for general information about _develop_, the new developers/development magazine from Apple. Since it seems to be of interest to many people, I'll just post the information here (instead of mailing out individual replies): _develop_ is a quarterly publication produced by the Apple Developer Group. If you are a certified developer, partner, or associate, you'll be getting the magazine every quarter as part of your developer package. If you do not fit into the above category, you can get subscription info by writing: _develop_ Apple Computer, Inc. P.O. Box 3721 Escondido, CA 92025 Price is $30 per year in the USA, $50 per year elsewhere. Each issue includes a CD-ROM disk, which includes the past issues and code. As an example of what the "technical journal" (sorry, not a magazine) provides, here are some of the topics covered: 32-bit QuickDraw, Palette Manager, New Offscreen calls, Postscript and QuickDraw, Compatibility Issues, Declaration ROMs, Dynamo (Apple II assembler), and Apple II/Mac Q&A. I think this will be a great resource for developers. (I already sent in my $30...) -Michael p.s. I think they should make up their mind. In the front (subscription info), zip code 92025 is in Escondido. In the back (where to send subscription forms), it is listed as San Diego. -- Michael Niehaus UUCP: <backbones>!{iuvax,pur-ee}!bsu-cs!mithomas Apple Student Rep ARPA: mithomas@bsu-cs.bsu.edu Ball State University AppleLink: ST0374 (from UUCP: st0374@applelink.apple.com)
