I've found a naughty little bug in MPW 3.0, I wonder if anyone else has noticed it. If you've copied a text string to the clipboard from within MPW, you can use the Command-V keyboard sequence to paste it into the "Find..." and "Replace..." dialogues. However, this doesn't work if you've copied the text to the clipboard from another application or a desk accessory under MultiFinder. In other words, if the clipboard has been modified by someone other than MPW. The funny thing is, "Show Clipboard" shows the updated clipboard, and pasting into a file window works fine. It's only Find and Replace that don't accept the changed clipboard. The workaround? Paste the text into someplace handy (e g the Worksheet) and cut it back to the clipboard again.
