Well, its been a while since I posted a good stumper of a question, so here goes: I purchased an Advanced Gravis ADB joystick not long ago. I am quite pleased with the operation, BTW. It had all of the functionality I wanted... up to now. I can send all sorts of keyboard-type events with the buttons of the joystick, but not the joystick itself. I just purchased Pipe Dream. Its a real good time waster! Anyway, the two player selection requires input from the mouse, and the keyboard. Well, to make a long story short, the keybaord is a HORRIBLE input device for this game, and it puts this player at a major disadvantage. So, what I want the joystick to do is send keyboard events from the action of the joystick. This should be quite possible by programming the uP box which comes with it. Anyone ever done this? Anyone know how to do this? Is anyone from Advanced Gravis Corp out there listening? Any help would be greatly appreciated. -Russ -- Russ Donnan (415) 623-2121 Amdahl Corporation, Key Computer Laboratories, Fremont, CA, USA russ@key.amdahl.com, ...!{pacbell,sgi,amdahl}!key!russ -To capture the essence of an opinion takes but one lawyer.
