I am trying to make all of the windows on the desktop to update at a certain point in my DA. I figured that the easiest way would be to create a window the size of the screen and take it away and the mac would do the rest. Right? Sort of. It seems that the mac redraws only the non-white areas of the screen. I don't want this. I want the mac to redraw the _ENTIRE_ window. I have my reasons - trust me. Anyway, I tried stepping through the list of windows using the window's WindowPeek and doing an InvalRect. This got me all of the windows in my layer. Correct me if I'm wrong and I should have gotten all of the window on the desktop. Is there any way to do what I want to do? PaintBehind() won't work for me. I can't seem to get an appropiate RgnHandle to make the entire window repaint.
