Does anyone out there know how to set the attribute field in a File Record? In particular, I am interested in setting the Protect and Lock bits. I'm aware of the 'SetFilLock' trap for setting the Lock bit, but there aren't any for the Protect bit. I've also attempted to use 'PBSetCatInfo', which from the documentation in Inside Mac IV appears to allow setting of these attributes... However, it doesn't seem to work...
